Celebrating the Power of Work Experience with BEST
Last month, the Mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Jeremy Ambache, welcomed our work experience team, BEST (Business and Education Succeeding Together), along with several of our incredible employer partners to the Town Hall.
The event was an opportunity to recognise the vital role work experience plays in shaping young people’s futures. Councillor Ambache expressed his gratitude to the employers in attendance, acknowledging their commitment to supporting local talent.
Over the past year, BEST has successfully placed 1,165 young people into work experience opportunities, thanks to the support of almost 700 employers. These placements provide invaluable insights into the world of work and help young people build confidence and skills for their future careers.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to some of the outstanding employers who have gone above and beyond to provide high-quality placements:
Microsoft London
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust
AFC Wimbledon Foundation
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust
JoJo Maman Bébé
Wimbledon Magistrates Court
Howden Insurance
